The catmusic shielding kit for electric guitar and bass
Less noise, more tone!
Our shielding kits and accessories will significantly reduce hum and noise from an un-shielded electric guitar, bass, or other instrument that uses magnetic pickups. The appearance of the guitar is unchanged, and the kit is easy to fit. No special skills are needed, and no soldering is necessary - you will need only a few basic tools like screwdrivers, scissors etc.
You can find out how shielding works in the FAQ here, where you can also see details of a test to show the effectiveness of the kit. You can hear the difference it makes here - you'll hear the background noise of an untreated Fender Strat®, a short silence, then the same guitar after fitting the kit.
